Tanglewood TW1000 H SR
All-solid spruce and rosewood, with Heritage detailing.
A solid Engelmann spruce top paired with solid rosewood back and sides, in a full-size dreadnought body – the TW1000 H SR is built from the combination so many players picture when they think of a traditional big acoustic. Tanglewood’s Heritage range dresses it in ebony, gold and herringbone, and it comes with a hard case.

All-solid construction
All solid, all traditional
The top, back and sides are all solid wood. That’s what draws people to a guitar like this: a substantial dreadnought with a solid Engelmann spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides, made for strumming full chords behind a voice or filling a room at a singalong. Turn it over and you’ll find a striking solid rosewood back, its grain running the length of the body.
Neck & playability
Ebony under your fingers
The mahogany neck joins the body at the 14th fret and carries an ebony fingerboard with 20 frets and mother-of-pearl hexagon markers. Its 44.5mm bone nut is a touch wider than many acoustics, which gives your fretting hand a little extra room across the neck – welcome when you move from strumming to fingerstyle.

Dressed in gold
Gold Waverly tuners, herringbone binding and those hexagon markers set against dark ebony give the TW1000 a proper Heritage look under its natural gloss finish.
Taking it on stage
There’s no factory-fitted pickup or preamp. When you take it on stage, the TW1000 can be amplified with a microphone or a suitable added pickup.
Checked and set up by Zebra Music.
We inspect and set up every guitar before it leaves us. The TW1000 comes with a hard case.
