Suhr Classic S Antique HSS Electric Guitar (Pre-Owned) – Olympic White

Suhr Classic S Antique HSS – Olympic White – Pre-Owned

The Suhr Classic S Antique combines the familiar feel and character of a well-played vintage-style guitar with the precision, consistency and modern performance for which Suhr is so highly regarded. Finished in Olympic White with a maple fingerboard, this HSS model has a timeless look, with extensive checking and wear across the thin nitrocellulose lacquer adding plenty of genuine character.

The HSS pickup configuration makes this an exceptionally versatile instrument. The neck and middle single coils provide the clarity, sparkle and dynamic response associated with a great vintage-style S-type guitar, while the bridge humbucker adds extra body and output for driven rhythm sounds, lead work and heavier styles. Suhr’s noise-reduction system also helps retain the character of the single-coil positions while keeping unwanted background hum under control.

A comfortable neck profile, compound-radius fingerboard and medium stainless-steel frets give the guitar a beautifully refined playing feel. Chords remain comfortable towards the lower end of the neck, while bends and faster playing feel smooth and effortless further up the fingerboard. Suhr locking machine heads and the two-post tremolo complete a dependable, professional specification designed to stay stable through regular use.

Condition

This is a pre-owned instrument and the nitrocellulose finish purposefully shows extensive checking, scratches, dings and areas of wear throughout. Some of this forms part of Suhr’s original Antique treatment, while the guitar has also developed further natural playwear over time. Rather than looking artificially pristine, it has the convincing appearance of a guitar that has been played and enjoyed. Please study the photographs carefully for a full indication of its cosmetic condition.

The guitar remains all original with no modifications, and the stainless-steel frets are in excellent condition. It has been checked and professionally set up by ourselves and is ready to play.

Supplied with its original Suhr gig bag and paperwork.

Please note: this is a pre-owned instrument and as such may have signs of wear and tear. We have tried to capture any damage in the photos provided so please study them carefully before placing an order. If you would like any additional photos then please get in touch.
