Northstar Pro NSP5CH Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar – Open Pore Cherry Satin

Northstar Pro NSP5CH Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar – Open Pore Cherry Satin

Experience the rich, airy resonance of a semi-hollow body combined with the punch and clarity of a modern double-cut electric. The Tanglewood Northstar Pro NSP5CH in Open Pore Cherry Satin delivers vintage-inspired semi-hollow warmth through a pair of powerful humbuckers, all wrapped in a sleek, contemporary finish that looks stunning on stage or in the studio. Perfect for blues, indie, rock rhythm work, and sparkling clean tones – without the feedback issues common with full hollowbodies.

Why This Guitar Stands Out

The NSP5CH is a player-focused semi-hollow that gives you the fat, singing midrange and dynamic response guitarists love from instruments like the ES-335 or PRS Hollowbody, but in a lighter, more stage-friendly package with straightforward controls.

Crafted with a mahogany body, set okoume neck, and rosewood fingerboard, this guitar offers excellent sustain and that signature semi-acoustic “woody” character. The 650mm (25.6″) scale length, comfortable neck profile, and 43mm ox bone nut deliver smooth playability straight out of the box. At 50mm body depth, it sits perfectly between solidbody punch and full hollowbody bloom.

Tone & Playability Highlights

• Dual humbuckers with individual volume and tone controls – instantly switch between thick bridge bite for driven rhythms and warm, jazzy neck tones with no complicated switching
• Open Pore Cherry Satin finish highlights the natural wood grain, feels great under the arm, and resists fingerprints
• Black Tune-O-Matic bridge, matching hardware, and reliable die-cast tuners for a sharp, purposeful look and excellent tuning stability
• 22 medium frets with white dot inlays, two-way truss rod adjustment at the headstock, and factory-fitted .010-.046 strings – gig-ready from day one

Who It’s For

Ideal for home recording, band rhythm and lead work, blues players seeking clarity and dynamics, and singer-songwriters who want a versatile, inspiring instrument that feels premium without the premium price tag. A fantastic choice for players who love the feel and presence of a semi-hollow but prefer modern looks and simple controls.
