A wonderfully characterful vintage 12-string, this Korean-made Eros Blackbird offers the unmistakable shimmer and depth of a traditional 12-string acoustic with plenty of genuine 1970s charm.

Finished in black, the Blackbird is a distinctive instrument with a classic large-bodied acoustic design and the full, chiming sound that makes a 12-string such a useful addition to any collection. Whether used for big open chords, folk-style accompaniment or adding texture to recordings, it offers something quite different from a conventional six-string acoustic.

Eros guitars were a familiar sight on the UK market during the 1960s and 1970s, with instruments produced by a number of overseas manufacturers. This particular Blackbird was made in Korea and is believed to date from the 1970s.

Condition

This example is in good pre-owned condition for its age. There are a number of scratches, small chips and general signs of use around the guitar, but nothing unexpected from an instrument of this vintage. Please see the photographs for a closer look at the cosmetic condition.
