Developed with James Hetfield, the Ernie Ball Papa Het’s Hardwired Master Cores set combines an 11-50 custom gauge with a construction intended for firm response and dependable pitch stability. It is a purposeful set of electric guitar strings for players who hit hard and want the guitar to feel controlled under the picking hand.
Features & Benefits
The wound strings use a thicker Paradigm core with nickel-plated steel wrap wire. This heavier core-to-wrap ratio helps produce a substantial feel while improving stability during forceful rhythm playing. The plain strings use Paradigm wire with brass RPS reinforcement at the ball end, adding strength at a common stress point and helping the guitar settle reliably after restringing. The sealed pack also keeps the set protected until it is fitted. Browse our wider range of guitar strings for alternative gauges and materials.
Who Is It For?
This set makes sense for James Hetfield fans, heavy rhythm players and anyone who prefers the resistance of an 11-50 set over a lighter standard gauge. It is particularly useful where aggressive picking, tight chord work and tuning confidence matter more than an especially soft feel.
