The Chapman ML2 Pro takes the familiar single-cutaway format and gives it a distinctly modern feel, combining a carved top, premium hardware and a versatile pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers. Finished in striking Azure Blue, this Korean-made example offers an impressive specification for players who want something capable of handling everything from clean, expressive lead work through to heavier riffs and lower tunings.
Its Seymour Duncan Sentient neck and Pegasus bridge humbuckers provide a well-balanced range of sounds. The Sentient remains clear and articulate for clean passages and fluid lead tones, while the Pegasus delivers the definition, output and tight low end needed for driven rhythm playing. A push/pull tone control splits the pickups to their outer coils, adding brighter, more focused sounds alongside the full humbucker tones.
The roasted maple set neck has a smooth satin finish and comfortable C-shaped profile, paired with a Macassar ebony fingerboard, rolled edges and 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets. The 25.5-inch scale length gives the guitar a responsive, precise feel, while Hipshot locking machine heads, a Graph Tech nut and string-through hardtail bridge provide dependable tuning stability.
