Boston TA-5-FCB 5mm Tremolo Arm – Chrome with Black Cap

Overview

The Boston TA-5-FCB is a tremolo arm with a 5mm thread and 5mm arm diameter. It has a chrome finish with a black cap and is intended for compatible threaded tremolo bridges. Tremolo arms can look very similar while using different thread sizes and fitting systems, so the stated measurements matter more than appearance. Compare it with our other tremolo parts if you are unsure which format you need.

Features & Benefits

The 5mm threaded fitting gives a clear compatibility point to check against the existing bridge, while the 5mm arm diameter provides the specified physical size for this Boston model. The chrome finish and black tip keep the appearance simple and familiar. It is a threaded arm, so it should only be used where the bridge accepts the stated thread rather than a push-in fitting. Never force a tremolo arm into a bridge if the thread does not engage smoothly, as mismatched threads can damage the bridge fitting.

Who Is It For?

This arm is for players, repairers and guitar builders replacing a missing or damaged tremolo arm on a bridge that is confirmed to accept this specification. It is especially useful when the original arm is unavailable but the bridge thread can be measured or identified.
